Workshop – Art de la table and the history of successful hosting
Do you know that Mme de Sévigné, Vatel, Mme de Staël, George Sand, Monet, Colette have one major point in common: their love for the art of hosting and the "art de la table"?
Two dedicated professionals in the creation and the arrangement of floral art team up with a literature professor and take you through the different evolutions of the history of ‘art de vivre’ from yesterday to today. This art form is explored through literature, works of art, cinema, social history as well as floral art and art de la table.
During the practical workshop you will create a floral arrangement and set the table around a theme.
A sojourn and a cultural discovery through the theme of ‘the table’ over centuries gone-by!
